This programme will provide students with the ability to safely carry out a range of activities for the safe and efficient operation of a rural workplace, including the use and maintenance of workplace vehicles, machinery and infrastructure.
This programme is designed to complement other agricultural programmes tht a graduate may wish to pathway onto.
ENTRY CRITERIA
Students must be:
- Aged 16 years or over
- Physically able and strong enough to work safely around livestock and use machinery
- Have sufficient literacy and numeracy to manage the demands of the programme.
PATHWAYS
Graduates may wish to progress onto further training at Level 3 such as Pasture for Farming before moving onto higher level study or into employment.
