This entry-level programme focuses on practical learning and is a great introduction to the agricultural skills required to be successful in farming. Training is focused on safety, confidence building and best practice.

Students who complete this programme gain the New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills and complete NCEA Level 2 with a Vocational Pathway in Primary Industries.

Transport may be available from central locations. Some students will be eligible for Youth Guarantee Funding which is an initiative that gives 16 to 19 year olds the chance to study fees free.
