Farming Systems Level 3 is designed for people wanting a future in farming. It will often be used by people wanting to pathway on into more agriculture learning after completing the New Zealand Certificate in Agriculture (Vehicles, Machinery and Infrastructure) (Level 3).
It will give students the knowledge and skills to work with and care for livestock; assist with livestock production tasks; assist with soil and pasture management including sustainable practices to protect soil and water quality; use technological tools; and adopt a health and safety perspective when working farming tasks.
