Fees are set in July of each year. The following information is intended to provide you with an idea of what your fees will cover, plus issues related to financing study at Taratahi. For specific information about fees please contact the office.
Standard fees are set each year to cover the costs of our two major courses at our Wairarapa campus as follows:
Costs related to the above courses cover all tuition, both theoretical and practical, as well as accommodation and meals.
While most students studying full time at Taratahi are also expected to live full time on campus, exemptions are occasionally granted and fees adjusted accordingly.
For information on fees in Taranaki, Hawke's Bay and Northland please contact Taratahi.
Course fees may be paid in advance either monthly (per calendar month), in two equal instalments, or in full at course commencement.
Accommodation and meals may be paid in advance either weekly, monthly (per calendar month), in two equal instalments, or in full at course commencement.
NB All fees must be fully paid before a Certificate can be issued.
A number of conditions apply to students withdrawing, or being withdrawn from, a course. Please contact us should you require any further information.
Taratahi students are generally eligible to apply for loans and/or allowances through Studylink.
To find out if you are eligible and, if so, how to apply, visit the Studylink website: www.studylink.govt.nz or phone 0800 88 99 00.
