As these requirements form part of our lease obligations we plan to talk to the lessors about taking a more strategic and economic approach to the annual requirments.

Pastures:  Hill pastures consist of traditional grass species.  Plantain and chicory have been used in conjunction with other modern short rotation cultivars (Feast 2, Maverick G2).  The main focus is to increase DM production and ME/kgDM to help boost finishing potential of lambs and R1 stags.

Drainage:   The Majority of the flats have had some sub surface drainage in the past.  This needs some attention to become efficient again.
