AgriKids
The Contest
A challenging & fun competition for all active kids — combining practical, knowledge and physical skills in a “top team” type format. Competition consists of a series of activities related to the sort of afterschool/ holiday hands on rural based tasks that all kids age 10-12yrs can do.
Teams of 3: Yr 6—Yr 8.
Tasks in competition could include:
- Electric fencing
- Milking a cow
- Go-cart jousting
- Building a gate
- Slingshot
- Assembling a horse's bridle
The Club
Become a member of the AgriKidsNZ Club and meet other kids from all over New Zealand who love farming, working with our animals, hunting, fishing, camping, tramping, riding horses and motorbikes, and generally getting into our great AgriKidsNZ Kiwi way of life.
