TATC Young Guns Competition
Test your agricultural practical skills and general knowledge
Students have the opportunity to register their interest and compete in a Regional Skills competition.
Lower North Island – To be held at Taratahi campus, Masterton 14th October 2009 9am to 2.30pm
Central North Island – To be held at Stratford/Taratahi Demo Farm, Stratford 27th October 2009 9am to 2.30pm
Grand Final - 2nd November 2009 - Taratahi, Masterton
The two top competitors from each region will automatically compete in the two day Grand Final held at Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre.
All accommodation, meals will be paid for by Taratahi. Full or partial transport costs may also be covered by sponsorship (this will be on a case by case basis).
Conditions of entry:
- You must have been enrolled to complete studies/training with Taratahi Agricultural Training Centre prior to the competition.
- You must be 15+ years of age
- You must have gained permission from both your parents and school principal to attend
- If there are insufficient competitors, Taratahi has the right to cancel all competitions.
