Taratahi Ag Connections
Year 9 and 10 students have an opportunity to connect with agriculture for a day.
There are five different “AG Connections” that can be completed in one day. (There are no unit standards offered).
- Fence Connection
- Sheep Connection
- Dairy Connection
- Tractor Connection
- Chainsaw Connection
Conditions and Cost:
- Students will need to bring their own lunch
- Solid footwear is required– preferably work boots
- Students must provide their own sunhat and/or wet weather gear
- The Ag Connection day will run from 9.00am –3.00pm
- Taratahi can take a maximum of 10 students per day, to ensure focused learning for the students.
